Makeup has been a passion of mine since I was a kid playing with Dick Smith's Monster Makeup Handbook, and in 2003 I took the plunge with the decision to turn a lifelong hobby into a career. Since then I haven't looked back. I'm a well-rounded artist in film, television and theater, experienced with both beauty and special effects makeup as well as being an accomplished wigmaker. I hold a Master's Degree in Makeup and Wig Design from the University of Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music and have taught at several schools and venues around the country.

Currently I am working as the Special Effects Makeup Department Head on NBC's Chicago Fire. Past credits include such hit television shows as CSI, NCIS, Nip/Tuck, Grey's Anatomy and Lost; and films including Star Trek (winner of the 2010 Academy Award for Best Makeup), Harold and Kumar 2, The Eye, Untraceable, Jupiter Ascending, Beyond the Darkness and Clive Barker's Midnight Meat Train. Over the years I've had the opportunity to meet and work with a small but growing list of celebrity clients, including Seth Green, Gary Cole, George Wendt and Mimi Kennedy.
